Bulgari Mediterranean Eden Spring 2011

To amplify the new "Mediterranean Eden" collection for Bulgari, we were commissioned to design and produce an installation in-store that would immerse viewers in the rich brand narrative of the collection and present the new jewelry and accessories in a vivid and lyrical environment.

In the transformed 2nd floor customer service area, Guests first walk down an allee-like hall, articulated with a panoramic architectural mural of a sandstone wall with five alcoves showcasing bas relief medallions of the key brand emblems (Serpenti, Sessi, Monete, Leone and Fiori),and a lush overhead trellis of vines and white jasmine flowers cascading down the wall. Potted topiary boxwood trees stand to the right, and faux-sandstone pedestal tables sit within side seating alcoves to display the new Accessories collection. Translucent watercolor paintings of distant gardens fill the interior windows behind the product displays, effectively creating narrative depth to the compositions. At the far end of the hall, Guests arrive at a ‘private garden’ - a full wrap around mural of the gardens in Ravello, Italy, painted in soft watercolor tones and lush colors. The spectacular new jewelry collection is displayed on a dozen sandstone pedestals standing within this intimate space, along with live topiary boxwood trees. The dynamic composition of the architectural displays placed within the richly articulated graphic mural invites guests into the heart of the brand narrative, while completely transforming the store space into a fully immersive experience.
