Modern elegance that could accommodate a growing afro-Caribbean art collection, is the main idea and objective for the design of BY1002.

This project required the reconsideration of the typical layout for a particular client, removing everything from walls up through lighting, finishes etc.

The scheme is organized by three boxes, each made of a different material: acid mirror, red glass and cherry wood. Programmatically each box contains a distinct function, service core, toilet, or private quarters. Part of the program also required a bar, a cigar humifier, steam room among other special requirements. We also incorporated the automatization of lighting, audio, video, solar shades and a/c.

The project reflected the elegance requested by the users and focused the user towards the art collection.
