From the experience of byNice-Fabriano, the client requested the design of a new ice-cream parlour, based in Jesi, with the same contents of simplicity, naturalness and transparency inherent in ByNice, but subjected to a revisiting process, adopted for the different dimensional and formal characteristics of the available premises.
The idea is to design an exterior-interior, a landscape within a container. Hence the idea of placing a sequence of small rooms that recall the elementary form of the house and articulate the space around the counter.
The basic guidelines of the byNice concept have been maintained, namely the contrast between warm and cold tones. The dual temperature is present in the choice and placement of materials: warm wood on the floor that rises up and envelops the seats and counter, cold tones, black and white, for the remaining surfaces.
Everything is completed with lighting consisting of a network of tubes running all along the ceiling and down the walls, "industrial" branches of painted PVC which end with either a single bulb or a lampshade, also painted like the tube. These are industrial materials, but their configuration and layout take on an organic and natural appearance consistent with the brand's philosophy.
