Caffè In... is located in the centre of Ancona, Italy , close by Piazza Cavour, and is the result of a small yet effective architectural intervention which radically changed the appearance of the old Caffé, making it more sophisticated and pleasant at the same time, through the use of timeless materials and colours.
The furniture is made of white lacquered wood adorned with brass inlays, which illuminate and provide a rhythm to the space. Two longitudinal walls enclose the whole Caffé: one is coated in chalkboard paint, which besides being practical it also gives depth to the volume thanks to the contrast with the white colours of the furniture, the other is highlighted by a large scale printing representing an angel of Canova, who tries to speak to the passers-by and with the ancient statue of Cavour.
