Insight Global's Campus 244 reimagines corporate training as an immersive workplace and hospitality experience. Located in Atlanta, the facility brings together formal learning spaces, collaboration areas, private work settings, dining venues and social destinations in an environment designed to support movement, choice and connection. The result is a campus that makes learning feel active and communal while giving Insight Global's culture a clear physical presence.
The interior balances the energy of bold graphics, playful brand moments and exposed building systems with a warmer material language. Natural wood, planting, soft seating and carefully integrated lighting soften the large floor plate and give each setting its own character. Although the campus offers many different modes of use, repeated materials and details create continuity from arrival through the café, lounge areas and enclosed booths.
Flexible solid wood tambour panels manufactured by Surfacing Solution form one of the project's recurring architectural elements. The tambour appears across reception and hospitality counters, bar and island fronts, curved planter walls and the interiors of intimate meeting booths. Its narrow vertical rhythm adds texture and human scale to broad millwork surfaces while the warmth of the wood provides a calm counterpoint to the project's saturated colors and graphic identity.
The material is especially effective where the millwork shifts between straight runs, radiused corners and sweeping curves. Surfacing Solution's flexible panel construction allows the same linear texture to follow these changing geometries, helping the design team maintain a consistent expression across very different applications. At the reception desk and communal counters, the fluted surface works with concealed lighting to create depth and shadow. Along the curving planters, it helps define circulation while preserving an open visual connection between adjacent gathering spaces. In the booths, the wood creates a more enclosed and comfortable atmosphere for focused conversation.
Used throughout the campus rather than as a single feature, the tambour becomes a recognizable material thread. It connects high-energy social spaces with quieter work zones and demonstrates how one adaptable surface can support both expressive design and precise custom millwork. The completed environment feels energetic, welcoming and distinctly tied to Insight Global: a destination built not only for training, but also for strengthening relationships and shared culture.
