Cointreau - France

Cointreau is an orange peel based liqueur that is now shining across the world. The original recipe created under the name of Triple-Sec was developed by Edouard Cointreau in 1875. A visit to the only Cointreau production site, a distillery in Angers, will take you through 170-year of its history where you can also discover their distillation process. The visit ends in the intimate atmosphere of the bar Carré Cointreau where you will enjoy the liqueur tastings perched on top of our Emea stools.

Brand description

Alki´s path started in 1981 in a small village in the northern Basque Country, in Itsasu. In a time of economic difficulties a group of five friends founded a small chair factory that we named Alki   "which means chair in Basque"  with the aim of creating jobs in a weakly industrialised region. The cooperative status was the most suitable to our values which are an essential part of our day-to-day existence

Combining ancestral tradition and modern technology, Alki now offers conviviality in a more contemporary style.
