Casa A&N is a bespoke residential architecture project by ADI Arquitetura, located in Punta del Este, Uruguay — a vibrant coastal context that inspires a harmonious balance between relaxed seaside living and refined contemporary design.

This project reflects a thoughtful approach to spatial organization and architectural expression, prioritizing fluidity, natural light and strong connections between interior space and outdoors. The design gestures toward a sense of openness and calm, where each space is composed to enhance the everyday experience of its inhabitants.

Materials and finishes are selected with a refined sensibility, creating a cohesive and timeless aesthetic throughout the residence. The interplay between solid and transparent volumes not only frames views of the surrounding landscape but also reinforces a seamless dialogue between indoor comfort and outdoor living.

The living room of ​​Casa AN was designed to be the highlight of this project. The vibrant tones of the furniture, combined with the light tones chosen for the walls, floor, and curtains, create the necessary balance for this living room. A large sectional white leather sofa by Natuzzi defines a conversational area where the powerful sculpture by Uruguayan artist Pablo Atchugarry takes center stage. Its vibrant red harmonizes perfectly with the light tones of its surroundings and with the green of the garden, which appears as a backdrop through the window frame. The vibrant and pure colors of the sofas, armchairs, and rug placed at the center of the room provide a counterpoint to the neutral tones of the other spaces in this living area. The artwork by Beatriz Milhazes, a Rio de Janeiro-based artist, brightens the light gold stainless steel doors of the Concave Sideboard designed by Studio Arthur Casas.
