The architectural project by architect Michele Faglia represents an expansion of an old farmhouse dating back to the 16th century.
The old ruin was joined to a completely new section, thus creating a striking architectural union between the old and the new.
This union is evident inside, especially in the metal columns that distinguish the new section. Since the building is located in a historic village, the conservation project had to comply with the Fine Arts regulations.
The interior design and furnishings were created by Dario Turani, combining material style and contemporary design, materials that integrate perfectly with the style of the old Cascina Lombarda.
