The house that is the object of intervention is located in the Red Cross neighborhood, adjacent to the historic ring road of the city of Seville. It is a single-family house between party walls, built in 1940 and renovated in 2012, the owners being a couple and two children. It consists of two floors plus an attic, with an entrance, living room, kitchen, toilet and patio on the ground floor, an office and a master bedroom with bathroom and dressing room on the upper floor, and a study, bedroom and bathroom on the attic floor, as well as a outside terrace.

The interior design process has been extended over time: from the beginning of the first steps to the conclusion of the furniture, it has been a craftsmanship, studying each space and its materials without haste, adapting to the economic availability of the property and resolving the different details in work, with hardly any plans.

The backbone material of the action is the microcement that appears in all the communication spaces (entrance, stairs and distributors) as well as in the kitchen coverings and complete main bathroom; the natural oak wood slats have been used in the bedrooms and private rooms and in the living room pieces of hydraulic flooring saved from the previous state have been used. As the main piece of furniture we can highlight the living room furniture, designed exclusively for said space and which houses the fireplace. As for the most symbolic space in the house, we highlight the staircase, with a minimal conception in terms of the step and the railing.
