The project is carried out on a flat plot of one block of single-family homes between party walls with a protected typology, in the northern area of ​​San José de la Rinconada in Seville. The geometry responds to the plot, to the urban ordinances and to the regional regulations for subsidized housing, which establishes the obligation to place a parking space in the building, forming a compact plan aligned with the façade, with a backyard in the rest of the plot. free.

The house is developed on two floors above ground, the pedestrian and car entrances are configured as a single hole in the façade, using the same material. Once we enter the house, we find a double-height hall where the staircase is located (avoiding the typical scheme of protected housing with the staircase in a central bay and the kitchen facing the façade) with glass protections so as not to reduce the spatial sensation. Thanks to the location of the stairs, we can locate the kitchen and the living room open to the patio, protected from the south orientation by a concrete visor, where a small pool is installed to cool down the hot summer nights.

Already on the top floor, we find a small hall that gives us access to the two simple bedrooms, a bathroom flooded by light from a skylight and the master bedroom, with a dressing room and terrace. The roof is resolved flat and will have a planter that will finish off the elevation in the future.
