A comfortable 'tailor-made' interior has been designed for the new office within the existing industrial architecture. Hereby the open ceiling is preserved and provided with an acoustic spray with all installations in sight. The interior is designed in great contrast with this raw base. For the office, a high-quality finish and warm materials were chosen. The appearance is businesslike yet comfortable due to the combination of hard and soft materials, gloss and matt finishes and working with dark versus light zones. Upholstered walls have been used at the workplaces for the acoustics.
A second, almost architectural, ring has been made around the core consisting of a large continuous custom cabinet wall. This wall is interrupted by passages or viewing windows, jumps and houses various functions (reception desk, wardrobe, archive). In the workplace areathe architecrual ring is made of black MDF, while the outside (corridor side) has been made of a warm wood.
