Our design for a new, open and transparent extension allows the church to reveal itself to its surroundings. Through the contrasting building the church opens itself outwards, and makes a strong connection with the community. (The adaptation of the monumental church required a careful and open process with all parties involved.) The light pavilion combines the church's desire for greater transparency and a clear relationship with the surrounding landscape.
