As Cloudflare expands in Portugal, its new office in Lisbon meets the need for additional space to accommodate more employees while providing optimal working conditions. Despite the flexible working arrangements introduced by the pandemic, physical office spaces remain crucial for the American tech company, as they play a vital role in strengthening corporate culture and fostering team connections.
Located in the Allo building, the office was designed by Openbook and Gensler and built by Vector Mais. It perfectly balances shared spaces that encourage collaboration with open-plan work areas, focus zones, and collaboration rooms. Materials and colors are significant throughout the interior, featuring tiles, terracotta bricks, wood, and a vibrant palette of coral, yellow, blue, and green tones. These design choices, along with exposed white-painted ceilings, enhance the brightness of the space and capitalize on the unique views of the nearby bridge and the Tagus River.
