Cohousing Oosterkade

Cohousing Oosterkade is an extraordinary project and a good example of a successful private development. The group of residents (VvE de buren) designed their own residential building, which was featured during the Day of Architecture in Groningen (NL) where it won first place. The 1400 m² apartment complex is beautifully located, overlooking the Oosterhaven and the city center. The development is composed of 6 apartments with a joint library, laundry, gym, sauna and meeting room. The building is distinguished by its large windows and doors, creating an open environment and smooth transition between inside and the outdoors.
