The Related Group and David Rockwell, founderand President of Rockwell Group, today unveiled the first look of Brickell Heightsin Miami leading up Oscars® in Los Angeles, where Rockwell has been tapped to design the greenroom for the award show.

Rockwell and his firm, which designed the interiors of the Dolby Theater, as well assets for the 2009 and 2010 Academy Awards®, is designing the Architectural DigestGreenroom for the ceremony on Sunday, March 2. Rockwell Group has conceived aloft-inspired design that reflects a new kind of luxury that incorporates new andvintage furnishings in neutral hues with pops of color. The Greenroom will alsofeature artwork co-curated by Rockwell and Academy Award winner SusanSarandon.

A similar approach to design is echoed throughout Brickell Heights--the 690-unitluxury condominium tower that marks a stunning collaboration for Rockwell andRelated, which will be anchored by a 35,000-square-foot, three-story EquinoxFitness Club.

“For Brickell Heights, we were inspired by the elegant simplicity and rich, evocativematerial palette of mid-century design,” said David Rockwell. “The interiors will reinterpretthe glamour of the art, design and culture of that era, but with acontemporary twist.”
