Arte Sella, Trentino a place where in more than thirty years the mountain and contemporary art meet. Artists/Architects like Kengo Kuma , Souto De Moura from all over the world are invited to encounter the Sella Valley to carry out artworks every year.

The installation 'RE-Birth' is creating a spatial matrix inspired by the moment of the trees snapping off during the natural disaster of heavy monsoon rains last year. The proposal is both a memorial and a statement of hope in the aftermath of the disaster.

The visitors freely walking through the matrix are able to see the branches strangely twisted and snapped but reaching out gently attached to each other representing the power of resurrection, the strength of mutual support and the hope of togetherness. 'Re-Birth' reminds people of the fragility of our environment, but also the strength of our will-power to overcome.
