Daumar Packaging is a leading manufacturer and supplier of vertically integrated packaging solutions to the fresh produce industry. Founded in 1953 and based in Spain, the company expanded its operations in the US, constructing a purpose-built manufacturing plant in Huntersville, North Carolina, comprising of 113,000-square-feet of production plant and 27,000-square-feet of office space.
The buildings main entrance consists of a two-story high glass façade which picture frames a jewel of a Staircase, constructed by the craftsmen at C.M. Steel, who are known for their creativity and quality. Glasshape has long supplied bent glass to C.M. Steel and this project was no exception. The two companies share a common standard of providing excellence in both service and product and the Daumar Staircase stands testament to this shared belief.
