The station will be an important piece of infrastructure in an area of rapid growth and development where a large Congress Centre is being built. The station mediates between a large parking lot and the railway and, together with the design of the train plaza, will help the travellers to connect with the more amicable areas surrounding the new congress centre.

The station is designed as a precise object that holds, mainly, technical rooms, and that works to cover from the sun and the rain the functional areas required by the opeartor: the entrance, the ticketing area and the covered stands where the travellers are waiting.
