The architecture of LASASTUDIO and the technology of Easytech joined for a sustainable and modern project in the design and use of energy.
3 wood cube with different functions are positioned on the existing roof of a typical industrial building: a meeting room and two labs. The architecture has been designed to relate to the environment: the openings have been positioned to the south to efficiently capture the sunlight, while offering the best view of the surrounding hills. In addition, a metal shield completely covers the volumes, to encourage the entry of solar rays in winter and filter them in summer, avoiding overheating in summer. The white metal profiles create continuous perspective games with their shadows and reflections on the mirrored glass. The white is presented in the internal piece of furniture that constitutes an integration between the wall covering and the containment and furnishing function.
The elevation is made up of 3 cubes collocated on the existing roof. They are hosting a meeting room and technical and experimental facilities that are experiencing the efficiency level of the heating systems of the Warmset by Filmcutter management systems, compared with more common ones.
ORIENTATION AND SHIELD STUDY
The architecture is designed to relate with the environment: the openings were positioned on the south to efficiently capture sunlight, while offering the best view of the surrounding hills. In addition, a metal screen covers the entire volumes, to facilitate the entry of sunlight in winter and filter by 50% in the summer to avoid overheating in summer.
INTEGRATED INTERIORS
The white metal profiles create continuous perspective effects with their shadows and reflections on the windows. White recurs in the furniture inside which is an integration of the wall cladding and the holding function and furnishing. Easytech and Warmset together for sustainability, technology and energy efficiency.
DESCRIPTION OF PLANTS
In Easyboxes building there are only heating and electric plant (for lighting). Both are powered by electricity, and in this particular project, Easytech system is the sperimental issue.
The radiating part is made by a membrane, width about 2 cm and thick few millimeters, which is "controlled" by a remote management system that uses the Easytech patented logical and is positioned immediately below the floating floor. In this way it is ensured maximum reactivity and effectiveness of the heating system that works for the most part by radiation without producing any type of electromagnetic field (given the particular shape of the radiating conductor). The total power used to power the three environments is 4.8 Kw.
DESCRIPTION SUPPLY SYSTEMS
The whole power supply is guaranteed by the photovoltaic system on the roof that, even in times of low insolation, the gained energy power is sufficient to cover the membrane needs.
