Volume harmony, smart sustainability : this office project is noteworthy in many respects. Designed with a real concern for functionality, this flowing building blends with a chaotic environment, thus addressing the challenges of a complex urban plot. The building envelope reduces effectively the amount of energy needed to run the building. For the first time in France, the energy produced on site is directly used in the building. Thanks to this remarkable energetic performance, the project has been labeled as the first self-sufficient building. The electricity produced by photovoltaic sensors on the roof is used straightaway within the premises.
