WiP handled the restructuring of the interior spaces of a building within the former Olivetti complex located in Pozzuoli, a masterpiece designed in the 1950s by Luigi Cosenza, a master of Rationalism. WiP approached this task with the respect it deserved, fully aware of being merely "guests" in a piece of architectural and enlightened entrepreneurial history: the factory in the green, or even better, the "factory-territory."

In Pozzuoli, the Olivetti factory represents a rare example of harmony between industrial architecture and a context of extraordinary landscape importance. WiP Architetti's goal in designing the spaces was to maintain its imprint, both in the choice of materials and in the system design. The fusion of two key elements, the well-being of the worker and the grandeur of nature, is perceived throughout the complex: the restructuring and lighting intervention enhanced and reinterpreted in a contemporary tone a culturally visionary heritage conceived and stubbornly pursued sixty years ago.
