∆ῶρα, "Dora" in Greek etymology (δῶρον = gift of God), is the first ambitious project by WIP FOR PEOPLE.
This initiative involves the design and construction of a school, a kindergarten, and a clinic in a remote village in Madagascar called Antanandava.
∆ῶρα comes to life through the contribution of Stefano Scaringella: a medical surgeon and Capuchin father who has dedicated more than 40 years to his humanitarian mission in this region. Over the years, Stefano has already realized various facilities for shelter, care, and education for the local population, with particular attention to children and girls often abandoned in the forests.
His commitment aims to offer a better future to these young lives. The project involves the design and construction of a school, a kindergarten, and a clinic in a village in Madagascar called Antanandava: pronounced "Tanandava," it is a rural commune located in the western part of the Diana region, in the Ambanja district (with approximately 240 thousand inhabitants), near Antsirabe and the Manongarivo Special Reserve.
Antanandava is strategically located as it is the convergence point of three major arteries in the region, making it easily accessible from many nearby villages via drivable roads.
