A new multi-level family home with outdoor entertaining pavilion and swimming pool. The floor plan on this steeply sloping site was pulled apart to create a landscaped courtyard with a staircase and glazed bridge link allowing northern light to permeate the building. A material palette of off-form concrete, face brickwork and timber gives a raw, natural aesthetic while also being practical, enduring finishes in a coastal environment. As the building steps down the hill, roof gardens have been used to give a pleasant outlook from the upper floors, also providing excellent thermal mass for temperature regulation. A series of connected pods form two robust beach homes for extended family holidays on North Stradbroke Island. The first conversation  At any one time, there can be up to 12 people holidaying in Cumming Parade House. Our clients set out to create a beach house that provides an abundance of space when all three generations of their family holiday together. But they also wanted the home to feel comfortable (and not overwhelmingly big and empty) for times when just the two of them visit. The project was completed at the beginning of 2025 and consists of a single-family house with two levels and approximately 205m² of built area. It is situated within the private condominium "Las Totoritas," 80 km south of Lima, Peru. The site, also measuring 205m², is located 100 meters from the beach and next to one of the main streets of the condominium. The project for MSA House, located in the Terras de São José II condominium in the countryside of São Paulo, aimed to meet the clients' request, a couple with one child: a permeable, integrated, functional residence that takes advantage of the terrain, a slight slope, to enjoy the view of the valley. Immersed inside the low jungle of Puerto Escondido, between Nim trees, Casa OHANA finds its footprint to settle. A sinuous path unfolds through dense, tall vegetation, interrupted by a monolithic planting of Mesquite and Plumbago, revealing for the first time a large structure with a floating roof and shade. At our design studio, each project is driven by the quest for balance between built space and the natural environment. This principle not only extends to the structural conception in wood but also considers the influences of the local climate. Broad overhangs define the facades, encompassing the entire perimeter of the house, shielding both the structure and walls, minimizing overall maintenance. This is a project for the rehabilitation, expansion and transformation of a residential building into a small hostel in Ericeira, for surf enthusiasts.The pre-existence consisted of a residential building, which had undergone some changes throughout its existence. Being implanted in a land with some slope, its interior organization is distributed by different levels. The challenge of the Fisherman's House project was to rehabilitate a single-family house, located in the centre of Trafaria - a fishing village on the left bank of the Tejo River, in front of the city of Lisbon. Throughout the 20th century, silos and other industrial equipment were built in this area and the typical houses of the fishermen began to be replaced by illegal constructions, condemning the small village to urban degradation.
