ERGOSIGN is one of the leading providers of User Interface Design services with a team of 35 salaried employees and an average rate of growth of 15%. Optimun handling combinated with visual attrectiveness is their mission. The young team was founded inside the university of Saarland. since then they are setting up of international partnerships with usability provider all over the world with the result to built an own headquarter in terms of a new representative office building. A place for a 25 assistants who promote the communication between the team. a "livable" ambience was one of the formulated appointments. The new builted quarter "Eurobahnhof" is located in the middle of Saarbrücken by the north exit of the central main-station. with an new direct ICE-connection it is possible to achieve Frankfurt in 1 hour and Paris in more less than 2 hours. Design will be more than an simple office. the visitors start from the noth-exit the main-station and will be invited from a spectaculary roofed entrance ramp. arrived on the first level the company presenate her mission by means of image-movies inside a media wall. On the same level, behind the wall, is an lounge area wich serves as an entrance and hospitality facility for the arriving clients, but is also used as en communication place and meeting-point for the office-team. over an big open one-course stair it is possible to get into the working zone. the stair is more than just an opening. the split-level-organisation from the building, combinate with this open stair, provides an insight into all the different levels. next to the classic working zones exists withdrawal zone and communcation platforms. this social zones are performed with red coloured stuff and leather materials and not like the other zones in more inconspicuously materials. for the outer skin from the building are used silver (nearly golden gleaming) Alucobond-plates.
