The renovation project is based on the premise of making a correct analysis of the starting conditions in order to try to make the most of the potential of the pre-existences. We had a corner house, with large exterior openings and a long terrace overlooking the mountain. Therefore, a priori, it would seem a very bright house. However, its labyrinthine distribution, with a broken corridor, turned it into an apartment that seemed darker and smaller than it really was.

Therefore, the proposal focuses on simplifying the distribution of spaces, proposing an intervention that is resolved through a clear and simple scheme. The result is a compact dwelling that makes the most of the available surface area and allows natural light to reach all the spaces.
In the access, through a play of color, the closets and a storage space are integrated. From here, there is access to the small distributor that solves the whole house, while incorporating storage space. The kitchen, with a very personal design, is related to the living-dining room through a partition that delimits the space while generating a cozy atmosphere.

Architecture and interior design are understood together, integrating it with product design in a single process. A tailor-made solution is proposed, with a careful selection of materials, furniture and lighting. The result is a very detailed house, which meets the particular needs of the client using a universal and timeless language.
