In the heart of Rione Monti, in Via dei Serpenti in Rome, a young Neapolitan entrepreneur fell in love with a small atelier to turn into a mini-clothing boutique for his Roman store.

The removal of the suspended ceiling has brought to light the wooden beam ceiling, which has been cleaned and restored. Walls and flooring has been treated as a continuous surface with a resin in shades of ice white.

A lightweight metal cage has been superimposed to the neutral-color envelope: a grid of slender iron elements envelops the space vertically and horizontally. A lightweight and rarefied system where, as well as airplanes, clothing can flutter.
