Express Machine is a company that sells vending machines for snacks and drinks. The starting point for this project was the creation of a building to house the distribution center for the products, as well as a showroom for the machines and a center dedicated to the administrative sector of the business.

At first glance, the building's façade provides a significant visual impact from a wide expanse of glass-skinned front structure that reveals a preview of the café and the space dedicated to the machine showroom, like a true showcase of the company's solutions.

The biggest challenge of this project was to reconcile all the necessary program within the limited dimensions of the land. In view of this issue, our office's vast experience in developing logistics projects made all the difference in identifying a viable solution and successfully fulfilling this mission. In this case, optimizing inventory was a crucial point to ensure the distribution of all the desired spaces.

The construction of the building took place in a new region of the city of Varginha that has been growing and gaining value, especially for corporate ventures. It was precisely this pioneering, practical and innovative spirit that inspired the search for a construction that evoked young and contemporary aspects using fast and economical methods and materials.

With strong industrial references brought by the business owners, the implementation of exposed structural elements - such as beams, pillars, and the steel deck slab - became a striking feature throughout the architecture and interiors of the Express Machine headquarters. On the other hand, this was a decision that brought the project closer to advantages such as agility in execution and also from the point of view of the cost-benefit ratio.

The main entrance to the space is through a hall, where the cafeteria and showroom are located within reach of the presentations to customers. As it is a more frequent point of contact with business partners, this floor contains the most robust solutions in terms of versatility, receptivity, and sensory experience.

The entire administrative sector is located on the upper floor, with workstations that also have a view of the warehouse operations, the boardroom and the meeting room.

Exclusive access for loading and unloading is also possible via the left side of the building, where the direct transport of products to the warehouse takes place. To enable the installation of pallet racks in this area, a structure with a particularly high ceiling was developed, which optimizes the space through verticalization.

Reflecting the architectural references of the industrial-style building, the predominance of a neutral base in the color palette with nuances of black and gray occupying most of the spaces.

It is also important to highlight the presence of wood to compose carpentry solutions. In the cafeteria, for example, green is given space in the cabinets as a point of color, making the environment more attractive and relaxed. In the administrative area, colorful accessories chosen for the workstations fulfill this role. In this case, the red and yellow present in the Express Machine brand universe are the main contrast.

A special moving request involved the creation of a bookcase to house the old coffee machine inherited from the company owner's grandfather. The meeting room was the environment chosen as the setting for the object that evokes the family's history and tradition with coffee. Amazing, isn't it?

All the furniture used in Express Machine was purchased from Franttone Office, a partner company that always provides full support for our corporate projects. The decoration production was all curated by Franttone, finishing off the spaces with a flourish.
