Faleron Bay Park is offering Athens a unique opportunity to re-establish its lost connection with the sea. The design approach for the park sees the Faleron Waterfront as a Mediterranenan coastal landscape where architecture has a minimal presence; this is restricted to small pavilions articulated along three main axis that extend from the city to the sea. The project has been based on a concept design by RPBW. The design development has been undertaken by joint venture Faliro 2014, which included Divercity amongst other leading Greek practices.
