Florya Ihlamur Apartments Project is located in Bakırköy Istanbul district. At this duplex apartment house, our focus was revising the plans and to have more functional spaces. We used glass, mirrors and wide openings at this project. At the original project, kitchen and the master bedroom were  smaller and the circulation areas were not useful, we focused on the plan to have wider spaces with translucent details.

The location of the stairs challenged us, we wanted to see the swimming pool while going down stairs so we had to remove many walls, with this solution we have the reflection of the sunlight on the pool at our ceilings which creates a fun light game.

We wanted to connect the kitchen and the livingroom, the home owners wanted a wide dining area at the kitchen so our partner Degisim Muhendislik the main distributor of Veneta Cucine designed us a marvelous kitchen. The apartment has 4 bedrooms, 2 terraces and 2 bahtrooms upstairs and there is 1 bedroom, 1 playroom for the kids, kitchen, balcony, 2 bathrooms and the livingroom at the lower floor. The apartment is 616m² in total.

The flooring at the livingroom is wooden laminate parquet flooring done by Listone Giordano, we wanted to use this material in 45° so the space feels wider.
