Opened in the 10th arrondissement of Paris, the Françoise Sagan multimedia library used to house a prison before becoming a hospital. Only the façades and the two stairways were kept and renovated. For the rest, the architects emptied everything and added a metal structure with the load-bearing capacity required for such a project. The white reading rooms are sheltered behind a glazed wall set back from the arched openings of the stone façade. Outside curtains take place in the thickness of the loggias. The design of a garden planted with palm trees highlights the Mediterranean feel of the site.
