The Fukushima Prefectural Agricultural Center, Agricultural College (Fukushima Agricultural College) is the only higher education institution in the prefecture
that provides practical agricultural training. Its educational mission is to foster future agricultural leaders who possess advanced technical skills and strong
management capabilities. Over the years, it has produced numerous graduates who have become key leaders in their local communities.
Meanwhile, the agricultural sector faces pressing challenges, including a decline and aging of the farming population and the weakening of rural community
functions. In response, this project aims to develop human resources equipped with broad knowledge, sound management sense, and advanced agricultural
production techniques. The plan involves the integrated development of training facilities that support smart agriculture and promote self-directed learning
and interaction among students, trainees, farmers, and instructors, as well as accommodation facilities for medium- and long-term trainees from remote areas
and a student dormitory.
