This apartment renovation was thoughtfully designed to cater to both the resident and her cat, balancing functionality and aesthetics with warmth and attention to detail. The project maintained select existing elements—such as custom cabinetry and wall finishes—while introducing a clean, modern style with subtle layers of softness and comfort.

Natural, muted tones were paired with occasional mid-tone color accents on the walls, creating harmony with the preserved furniture. Wood elements and natural fibers add tactile warmth, while carefully placed indoor plants foster a connection to nature throughout the home.

In the living and dining area, a natural leather sofa was chosen for its durability and elegance—well-suited for pet living. A fiber rug adds texture and defines the space, and the existing sideboard was repurposed to house a coffee station, forming a cozy corner. The elliptical wood dining table introduces fluidity and practicality, paired with comfortable bar stools and extra seating for guests.

In the bedrooms, the balance between serenity and function is evident. In the primary bedroom, a sliding door embedded in a wood panel optimizes circulation, while lighting was positioned for ideal nighttime reading. The powder room stands out with a bold, sculptural mirror that contrasts the otherwise subtle palette. Meanwhile, the TV room doubles as a guest bedroom, featuring a retractable sofa bed and a functional storage module, resulting in a flexible and welcoming environment.

The renovation embraces the apartment’s original character, while enhancing it with lightness, elegance, and comfort across all spaces.
