egger architekten as Architects

Once a family of tanners, today the Frauenschuh family clothes not only fashion enthusiasts but also their new premises in „Kitz“ with their stylish natural materials. Buckskin walls, fabrics from their own range, custom designed lighting effects and oak flooring brought about by a modern and tradition-conscious transformation, provide the „stage“ for the leading actor – their own fashion collection. The stage concept is emphasised through the use of curtains, theater lighting, wall paintings and a video wall. These elements enable a relatively quick and easy visible transformation of the premises without the need for construction work. Similar to a real theater stage, the lighting is directed towards the „leading actor“ in order to obtain maximum attention. http://www.frauenschuh.com
