MAD Studio, a leading interior design firm based in Hong Kong, was commissioned by the tech company Golden Dynamics to design and build their 300-square-meter headquarters located in the heart of Hong Kong's bustling commercial district.

The design embraces contemporary office trends, prioritizing functionality and creativity to foster a more engaging and collaborative work environment. Key features include a spacious pantry and bar area, a co-working hub, private phone booths, and abundant indoor greenery. These elements seamlessly integrate to create a dynamic and vibrant workplace for employees.

Upon entering the office, visitors are greeted by a welcoming reception area. The main meeting room, designed as a striking glass box, serves as a central divider between the reception and the working space, allowing natural light to flow freely into both areas. Open-plan workstations are strategically positioned along the perimeter to maximize access to natural light, while a collaborative hub anchors the space at the core. This central hub is enriched with indoor planters, sculptures, and casual seating areas, offering a lively and inspiring atmosphere. Meeting hubs and phone booths are thoughtfully distributed throughout the collaborative zone, providing quiet spaces for private discussions and meetings.

The overall design theme is playful yet sophisticated, utilizing a diverse palette of textures, materials, and colors. Elements such as terrazzo flooring, ceramic brick accents, lush planters, and textured plaster walls strike a balance between industrial chic and cheerful energy. The result is a unique and inviting office environment that reflects Golden Dynamics’ innovative ethos while ensuring a productive and enjoyable workspace for their team.
