The hotel Built in the early 20th century and situated in the heart of a beautiful park overlooking the blue horizon of Adriatic, the Grand Hotel Rimini is universally regarded as the most prestigious hotel on the Riviera. Its position, décor and luxurious atmosphere make the Grand Hotel an ideal destination for an exclusive holiday. The hotel has luxury rooms, pools, a wellness centre, a Conference Centre, sports facilities, a panoramic terrace and a private beach.
Customer’s requirements The customer required mixers and accessories for a high quality, classic "Made in Italy" bathroom to compliment the antique furnishings of the rooms and suites, all different from each other, including three regal suites and 9 junior suites, all of notable style and elegance. For a few especially prestigious suites, they wanted mixers embellished with decorative elements and precious materials.
Melrose 70-71 The single-lever mixers in Fir Italia Melrose 70 collection fitted perfectly into the context of the tasteful furnishings of the suites: the elegant chrome finishing, the retro style and lovingly hand-crafted finishings of the mixers blend in seamlessly with the particularly unique furniture and furnishings, with authentic Venetian chandeliers and beautiful French 18th-century parquet floors.
The product choice In the wash basin area, the materials used for the ceramic vintage-style console table, fitted with Fir Italia Melrose 71 single-lever deck-mounted mixers, continue the theme of the white ceramic lever and plates of the mixer. A wall-mounted solution was chosen for the bath area, with a mixer that has a diverter for the hand shower. Mixers from the Melrose 70 collection were chosen for the most luxurious suites, with a Chrome & Crystal finishing: the mixer chrome body is embellished with Swarovski® crystal details on the lever, a small detail that differentiates the entire room. Finally, in addition to the mixers, classical-style bathroom accessories with a chrome finishing were chosen: from towel holders to under-mirror shelves and wall-mounted magnifying cosmetic mirrors with halogen light.
