Guangzhou Poly Peak View

Located in the Baiyun District, Guangzhou, Poly · Peak View is adjacent to the strongest TOD in western Guangzhou and sits in the core of Baiyun District. The project is based on the background of old city regeneration and incorporates new design concepts such as composite business, multi-dimensional community, three-dimensional landscape and three-dimensional garden, aiming to integrate regional resources and create a three-dimensional multi-dimensional landmark residential in the centre of Baiyun District.

【Design Concept】

The project is inspired by Baiyun Mountain, which has been known as the "No.1 Scenery in Yangcheng" since ancient times. The project site is located close to Baiyun Mountain, offering easy access and superior natural resources. Following the name of the project, the landscape concept is integrated into the natural and humanistic landscape of Baiyun Mountain, proposing the landscape concept of "the top of Baiyun and the future new city".

With mountains as the shape and water as the rhythm, the building's cascading façade is echoed by the design of stacked mountain-shaped scenic walls and tranquil water surfaces, creating a natural landscape form in which mountains and water scenes are intertwined.

【Romantic Clouds】

A set of spirit bastions in the foreground, inspired by flowers, with a hovering and rising shape and a glittering body, signifying rebirth and blossoming. As the highlight of the whole project, the Spirit Fortress aims to evoke a new tomorrow.

The Spirit Fortress spirals up to the top in the form of a floating flower, combined with lighting and fog spray design, presenting the auspicious meaning of "Purple Qi coming from the East".

【Mirror of Water and Clouds】

The foreground space is designed with mirrored water features, and the wind-driven art sculptures in the water are modelled on mountain forms and flowing clouds as inspiration, creating a quiet and ethereal atmosphere from the visual and aural senses, with large areas of water reflecting the sculptures and buildings, seemingly extolling the ethereal nature of the City in the Sky.

【 Cloudwalking Gallery】

A cloudy corridor runs through the entire front space, winding up from the entrance and looking across the water from the building, forming a contrast between the real and the imaginary. A curtain of water pours down from the top of the corridor, just like pearls falling from the clouds, splashing on the water surface and breaking the reflection of the cloudy corridor, just like a dream.

Surrounded by layers of stacked mountain-shaped landscape retaining walls as a backdrop, together with shaped simple trees, simple yet natural appearance is not lost. As the breeze passes by, the sound of wind, leaves, bells and water resonate, and the architecture, sculptures, corridors and greenery intermingle to form a beautiful painting that blends into and transcends nature.
