Life at the Lake: where nature, relaxation and water sports meet architecture and luxury

Archisphere as Architects

In one of Austria's most enchanting settings, directly on the shores of the picturesque Lake Traunsee, an extraordinary house by Archisphere was built in 2023.the unique location of this property required a sensitive and respectful approach to the surroundings. With clean lines and high-quality materials, the house presents itself in a minimalist, yet luxurious design.viewed from the street, the house appears modest and reserved. Upon entering, however, it reveals spacious rooms that open up to the south and offer breathtaking views of Lake Traunsee and the majestic mountains.the centrepiece of the house is undoubtedly the spacious terrace facing the lake. Here you can enjoy the view of the marvellous Traunstein and the tranquil Traunsee, which extends to its own private beach.

The well-tended garden invites you to linger and relax, while the interior of the house exudes a maritime atmosphere, characterised by calming blue and wood tones reminiscent of the sea. The generous panoramic windows let in plenty of daylight and offer ever-changing views of the lake and mountains, while the glass connecting structure with an elegant, self-supporting spiral staircase is a real highlight that perfectly complements the maritime design of the house.

This clever solution creates a seamless connection between the restraint of the background and the openness towards the lake, while the interior design is characterised by the highest quality and natural materials such as wood and stone. Cosy seating areas invite you to linger, while the modern kitchen is equipped with all the amenities you need to enjoy culinary delights. In the holiday home on Lake Traunsee, residents experience the symbiosis of natural beauty and modern luxury in its purest form.

Gabriel Kacerovsky, founder of Archisphere, explains: ‘Our aim was to create a holiday home that is not only functional and aesthetically pleasing, but also reflects the natural beauty of the surroundings. We think that with this project we have succeeded particularly well in offering the residents the experience of nature flowing seamlessly into the interior and forming a harmonious connection with the outside space. ‘The bright and airy rooms create an inviting atmosphere in which you immediately feel at home. Living at Lake Traunsee here means enjoying the beauty of nature in perfect harmony with a modern lifestyle.
