This apartment was designed around a warm, calm palette, with natural wood, soft neutrals and textured finishes bringing continuity from one room to another. The overall approach is contemporary and practical, with most of the storage and larger furniture elements integrated into the architecture rather than treated as separate pieces.
In the living area, the main feature is the full-width TV composition, combining oak-toned cabinetry, open shelving and a softly textured wall covering with an abstract relief pattern. The same wood finish continues into the coffee table and other custom-made elements, helping the space feel consistent without becoming overly uniform. Upholstered furniture in light, tactile fabrics and a few large plants soften the composition and add a more relaxed, lived-in character.
The dining area sits naturally between the living room and kitchen. A dark oval table and sculptural upholstered chairs create a stronger contrast against the lighter background, while the looping pendant above introduces a playful graphic element. The kitchen itself is kept visually simple, with warm wood upper cabinetry, light lower fronts and a continuous pale worktop and backsplash. The restrained material palette allows the kitchen to remain part of the open-plan space without dominating it.
Custom joinery is used throughout the apartment to make the most of the available space. In the entrance, an integrated vanity with an irregular mirror creates a small functional moment while maintaining the same curved detailing found elsewhere. The bedroom continues the softer side of the project, with an upholstered bed, textured wall panels and warm wood furniture. Rounded forms, indirect lighting and neutral tones keep the atmosphere quiet and comfortable.
The child’s room has a more playful identity while still remaining connected to the rest of the apartment. Dusty pink upholstery, light cabinetry and natural wood are paired with a hand-painted graphic wall pattern that gives the room its own character without relying on a typical themed design. Storage is integrated around the room, leaving space for play and study while allowing the interior to adapt as the child grows.
Across the apartment, the design relies on simple materials, custom-made furniture and subtle changes in texture rather than strong decorative gestures. The result is a practical family home that feels warm and contemporary, with enough detail to give each room its own personality while keeping the overall interior visually coherent.
