H.house is a small home located in Hanoi, Vietnam, designed on a 5.8m x 10m plot with a shared front courtyard with the owners' parents' house.
The architects at Dopaviews Design addressed the brief by creating a fully functional layout, featuring an interconnected living room and kitchen, alongside bedrooms for the grandparents, parents, and a young child. To optimize ventilation and natural light for the rear of the house—which is bordered by neighboring buildings—the team incorporated a small void and an open-concept staircase design.
The design language is modern and minimalist, utilizing a neutral color palette and clean, simple lines.
The furniture and materials were crafted and installed by local artisans, ensuring costs remained within the budget set by the homeowners.
Dopaviews Design was responsible for both the design and the interior finishing of the house. The project was completed in 2022.
