The interior design of the High Apartment, signed by Two Arquitetura, is the synthesis of contemporary sophistication, social functionality, and emotional expression. Located in a privileged spot with a panoramic view of São Paulo, the 275 m² apartment was completely redesigned for a young couple whose main hobbies are music and gathering with friends. Partners in both life and work, the residents wanted a space that would be both welcoming and ready to entertain — parties, get-togethers, music, and movement are part of their everyday life.
With double-height ceilings and a generous influx of natural light, the living room became the central axis of the design. The urban view — vast and mesmerizing — is treated as a work of art within the apartment. The floor plan and layout were conceived to highlight this horizon: the social space is designed around the window, which can even accommodate the residents’ DJ table for more relaxed parties.
Two Arquitetura embraced a refined urban aesthetic, with concrete-effect walls and porcelain tile flooring, creating visual unity and reinforcing the contemporary, masculine atmosphere desired by the clients. The design explores a mix of materials and colors, with predominant shades of gray, black, caramel, and wood. This base is warmed by the cozy textures of the upholstered furniture, curtains, and rugs by Phenicia, along with a carefully curated selection of furnishings.
Furniture is one of the highlights of the project: large modular sofas — one designed by Two and the other by Artefacto — ensure flexibility and comfort; chairs from Novo Ambiente and leather armchairs from Casual Móveis complete the composition. The dining table, also created by the firm, is unique: crafted by a carpenter, it cohesively and personally dialogues with the rest of the décor. The stone coffee table, like the dining table, is an exclusive design by Two, reinforcing the project’s authorial language. The Taccia lamp by Flos and the chandelier by Moooi accent the lighting with personality and sophistication.
The social area is fluid, with an integrated lounge, ample seating, and movable pieces that can easily be rearranged to create a dance floor. The bar — a key element in the living area — was designed to be functional for parties, yet it blends seamlessly into the residents’ everyday life.
On the walls and shelves, artworks from the couple’s personal collection were arranged with a thoughtful curatorial eye, transforming the apartment into an extension of their identity. Each piece tells a story and, strategically placed, reveals their emotional connection to the space.
In the private wing, the project includes two suites — the main one, spacious and comfortable, and a guest suite. A home office with a Micasa sofa provides a quiet, comfortable, and functional environment, reinforcing the apartment’s multifunctional character: a place for work, rest, and celebration.
Above all, the High Apartment is an architectural expression of the duality between intimacy and sociability. A project that unfolds in daily life and festivity, in concrete and comfort, in the urban and the emotional — all under the curatorial and contemporary gaze of Two Arquitetura.
