This is a hotel located in Nipponbashi, Osaka.

This area is recognized as a paradise for fans of Japanese pop culture worldwide. The hotel is designed for the diverse and very sensible tourists who visit this vibrant area.

Our goal was to give visitors to the hotel a sense of diversity through a design approach that would make their stay a little more exciting than just a place to rest.

 We designed a facade reminiscent of a retail store with display windows,and artwork that was inspired by the hotel's name.

 Transitioning from the vibrant facade, guests are welcomed into a serene, small lobby.

 To reach the guest rooms, they pass through an arched space reminiscent of an underground wine cellar.

  Upon arriving at the guest room floor, they first encounter a large sign.

 Followed by many lighting fixtures and a floor reminiscent of a moss garden.

In this way, each element is intentionally emphasized to entertain and engage the guests.

  Entering the guest rooms, they will find that some rooms have traditional Japanese elements and others have contemporary elements, giving each a different character and a sense of serenity.

 Although a small hotel, our goal was realized by having guests experience the alternating motion and stillness of the design, from the exterior to the guest rooms.
