A hillside plot in a beautiful location in Pöcking, into which the building volume blends discreetly by means of staggered structures. Two full storeys, which are also staggered, sit set back on a basement that slides into the hillside and also contains the parking area.
To the south, the upper floor opens up like a telescope to capture the mountain view. A layer of white-glazed wooden slats acts as a filter layer, like a dress, to stagger the building structures and allow the upper floor to float elegantly above the slope. These slats still need to be sampled in detail and are scheduled to be installed in 2026.
In addition to white-glazed wood, plaster surfaces in various grain sizes and anodised aluminium in an elegant, light grey-bronze tone determine the materiality. This makes it difficult to guess the wooden construction hidden behind it, which, together with a heat pump, meets the KfW 55 standard.
