The Ultimate Smart Home

An architectural and technical masterpiece is taking shape on a hillside lot with panoramic Alpine views.

A wood-clad house sits set back on a concrete and stucco base. The gabled roof, along with the dark materials, ensures that the home blends harmoniously into the surrounding village architecture.

The homeowners place great importance on the symbiosis of sophisticated architecture and smart-home technology. The energy foundation for the net-zero-energy home is provided by the integrated 14 kWp solar roof with battery storage and a fully networked KNX control system.

The minimalist wooden façade, which conceals the internal gutter and features no distracting, surface-mounted elements, thus seamlessly connects to the flush-mounted PV roof, creating a compact and monolithic structure.

The clients plan to upgrade the facade next year: a flush-mounted photovoltaic facade that transitions seamlessly from the roof into the facade. We’re excited to see the results and will share photos as they become available.
