The new purpose of the old barn, an appartment with an eurythmic‐atelier, had to be integrated into the two‐storey wooden‐built annex. The space‐program had to be organized inside the existing structure with only little effects on the outer appearance. With this goal in mind, we followed the path of avoiding the dissent of a barn and its new purpose. Besides we wanted to generate unconventional rooms with a spatial richness and ambiance that is naturally given to old but rarely found in new‐built houses.
