A design project for the Israeli company Zerto, which was acquired by HPE (Hewlett Packard Enterprise) two years ago. The project, located in Herzliya, covers an area of 1550 square meters.
Zerto has gained a renowned reputation for developing cutting-edge products in data management and protection against ransomware, cyberattacks, and unexpected outages. As a technologically advanced young company, Zerto's solutions enable organizations to recover from technology-related emergencies.
The importance of this project became even more apparent as we embarked on the design work just before the onset of the recent conflict, underlining the critical nature of robust data protection in today's environment.
Our main design concept was to create a harmonious connection between a cooperative multinational company and a bold and innovative Israeli firm.
We spent many hours exploring alternatives and fine-tuning the right elements for a successful merger of the two entities.
Key principles included maintaining specific room layouts to facilitate small team brainstorming sessions while also breaking down walls to create open workspaces that enhance communication.
Additionally, we focused on designing a materials palette that reflects both companies’ identities—a refined cooperative taste combined with the vibrant, youthful spirit characteristic of the Israeli tech scene.
Ultimately, this collaboration resulted in a diverse selection of materials, room layouts, textiles, lighting, and even wall branding that represent both companies’ values.
