Duncan Law Group

Duncan Law Group is located in a post-and-beam building in downtown Toronto. The original layout was highly compartmentalized, creating numerous light-deprived pockets. A subtle hierarchy was woven into the design, wherein perimeter offices monopolized windows and natural light while interior spaces were left dim and uninviting. This floor-plan encouraged a siloed work structure, both spatially and organizationally, limiting visual and collective connection across the firm. The law group wanted to open the space to allow for a more collaborative environment while also integrating a small in-house contemporary gallery for the founder’s art collection. Woodfac Panel

WOODFAC Panel is a closed façade system that wraps your building in real wood while quietly handling the hard work behind the scenes. Wooden lamellae sit on a structure of 100% recycled Greenline® aluminium, forming a breathable climate screen that protects the building without trapping moisture — the look of a timber façade, with the performance of a modern rainscreen. Every lamella is FSC®- or PEFC™-certified and fire-impregnated with a Cradle to Cradle–certified, natural flame retardant, reaching fire classifications up to B-s1,d0 (EN 14915 / EN 16755). The wood is thermally treated for dimensional stability, so the façade stays true year after year — with no painting or treatment req... More

Alufac Panel

Alufac Panel is a flexible, aesthetic aluminium facade cladding built as a closed climate envelope that protects the building from wind and weather while staying breathable thanks to rear ventilation. It's the closed counterpart to Napsu — and comparable to Woodfac Panel, but with aluminium slats instead of wood. Its modular structure lets you vary slat lengths, spacings and designs, and combine materials freely, so the facade reflects the unique character of each building. The system is mounted entirely without visible screws for a clean, sharp, uninterrupted appearance, and integrated thermal movement lets every component expand and contract independently — eliminating internal stress and structural damage. Slats are freely... More
