In the 80s, this park was already one of the most advanced - the second musical fountain in Ukraine at that time was built in it. Today, with the help of light and innovative technologies, we have taken this park a few more steps forward and made it a light magnet for Mariupol residents and guests from all over Ukraine.
The main idea we reinforced with light is to show that Mariupol is a city by the sea and river. Therefore, we have developed unique lamps with custom glass lenses that realistically imitate the effect of water and turn the main pedestrian alley of the park into a river bed rushing to the sea.

Other lighting effects enhance the feeling of water. So, near the central fountain, you can see laser caustics that create bizarre color overflows on the main path.
And over the fountain itself, once an hour every evening in the warm season, a real laser show takes place. We combined steam, jet illumination, and horizontal lasers to the music so that a very strong emotional experience arises as if you are underwater.

To reinforce this impression, we have created a unique device that passes a moving coherent laser beam through a specially molded glass prism, which is also in motion. Thanks to this, a dynamically changing color spectrum appear on the footpath, reminiscent of the waves of a multi-colored sea. The dance of bizarre light reflections evokes the same vivid emotions among park guests and enhances the impression of the music and light show on the central fountain, the know-how of which I will tell in more detail a little later.

We also wanted to emphasize a large number of preserved old park trees and create a feeling of a forest in the middle of the city. To do this, we carried out jewelry work with tree shadows and, where they were not enough, enhanced the effect with specially designed shadow stencils that create a unique chamber atmosphere in the evening.

In addition, on one of the cozy shady alleys of the park, we created the first of its kind in Ukraine, a permanent light installation, "Breathing Trees". The smoothly changing illumination of trees is combined into a single seasonal light picture with thematically selected music, and this entire installation creates a meditative and relaxing mood.
