The city of Oradea, known for its rich Art Nouveau and Secession heritage, has undertaken a major transformation of Independence Square, a strategic public space located in the heart of the historic centre.
The project introduces a new contemporary glass volume designed to host an art gallery, while preserving the architectural identity of the surrounding urban fabric.

The redesign of Independence Square is based on a harmonious dialogue between contemporary architecture and Oradea’s historical styles.
