Description: • The project is situated at a natural settings enveloped with vast agricultural green field. Regular grid pattern with diagonally installed louver at outer facades has created a unique institutional aesthetics of the building. • Warm and dry climatic pattern of the area has been specially considered by applying passive design solution. • Internal courtyard is designed to perform different open-air activities. • Casually placed terrace, group discussion areas and internal courtyard will trigger socialization process among the users. • Local building material and construction technology had been applied to enhance efficiency. • Simple design approach with passive solution is to encourage overcoming difficulties through a positive way of thinking.
Passive design solution: • Building orientation has maximum exposure to north - south for natural light and air circulation and reduced aperture from excess solar radiation of west. • Larger glass opening at south and north facade cuts off artificial lighting at daytime and ensures airflow into interior space, whilst provides panoramic view to the vast agricultural green land. • Louver installation and thermal mass at outer surface of building ensures heat protection. • Internal courtyard acts as air exhaust and generator device that maintains continuous airflow. • Green roofing system. • Solar panel for renewable energy source.
