".. These lines do not define an inside or an outside; their superimposition which defines, a volume and a space. As in the art of engraving, the line in this project articulates continiously the relation between volume and space, between ink and paper, between matter and light… " Such an uncertain pile of box, the structure of the new Center of the Graphics refuses any vertical continuity. The height of the concrete walls of each floor allows the piling up of these volumes without alignments. Each level rotate in plan on the lower level in order to generate unexpected conditionsat each level. This movement throws the visitor in a confrontation with the city in a singular way in each floor.
